During the past 25 years, GDC has grown into a leading provider of global solutions in Seismic Data Processing and Exploration Services.  Renowned for its pioneering work in 3D AVO, difficult topographic problems and rock properties studies, GDC offers a world class suite of seismic processing capabilities and exploration service solutions.

Technology

GDC uses technology based on industry standard platforms. These are enhanced with significant proprietary developments which provides our staff with the scalable solutions needed to address our clients' largest and most difficult projects.

To ensure fast turnaround GDC has developed a proprietary disk-to-disk seismic data processing environment to provide scalable parallel computing power with ample on line disk capacity. To promote close integration between GDC specialists and customers, project review and reporting is done in real time via specialized "Data Viewing Software."  High-speed secure access is available for clients to interactively view their data during processing so that optimal parameters are being selected and used to meet their specific objectives.

Research and Development

GDC has an active Research and Development group working on new signal processing methods and algorithms in the area of imaging, reservoir characterization and visualization tools.  GDC has a unique capability through its interpretation group to thoroughly address the ambiguities in relating well-logs to seismic.
