John has 33 years of experience.  He co-founded Ensign Geophysics Ltd. and assumed operational responsibilities from Ensign's inception, directing the research and development and computer system activities.

John is a graduate in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.  Since graduation, he has been involved in all aspects of seismic data processing, including quality control, software development, computer systems and center management.  John spent six years as a senior geophysicist with Western Geophysical and subsequently held the position of Technical Director with Merlin Geophysical Company Ltd.  He is the co-author of a widely used textbook on seismic processing techniques.

John is a member of the SEG, EAGE, PESGB and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
