Richard has over 25 years experience in seismic interpretation, modeling and depth imaging.  He has worked on constructing velocity models in many basins throughout the world. During his career Richard has successfully managed technical service groups for both service companies and major oil companies. From 1982 to 1994 Richard worked for BP Exploration where he was very involved providing a large portfolio of geophysical and geological technology to BP's offices worldwide. In 1995, he joined Paradigm and was responsible for all technical service work performed by the U.S. office. In 1998, Richard joined WesternGeco where he further developed his depth imaging skills as both a technical lead and as a team leader.

Richard earned both his B.A. in Meteorology and M.S. in Geology from San Jose State University.

Richard is a member of SEG and AAPG and is a registered Geologist in the State of California.
