Depth Imaging

Since 1999 GDC has been providing depth imaging services to the oil and gas industry. The Company has completed projects in all parts of the world including the Gulf of Mexico, Latin America and West Africa.  The velocity modeling team is second to none and can handle the most difficult depth imaging problems, including subsalt imaging in the Gulf of Mexico, thrust fault imaging in North and South America and the complex geologic modeling problems that are found in West Africa. 

GDC's philosophy to depth imaging can be simply stated as "a depth migration can only be as good as the time processing that proceeded it."  Utilizing this philosophy, GDC depth imaging team interacts with GDC's processing geophysicists and the clients to assure that the time processing product is of the highest quality before model building begins. 

GDC has a full suite of depth migration technology, its own Pre-Stack Depth Migration algorithms.  In terms of hardware, the Company utilizes the latest in Linux cluster technology allowing GDC to provide a superior depth product at a very competitive price.
