Petrophysical Analysis

GDC provides a full suite of petrophysical services that include:

• Enhancement of incomplete data from pseudo-curve generation, and incomplete or uncommon data (s-wave sonic, Poisson's ratio, permeability, core analyses, etc.) using neural network software.
• P-wave velocity to s-wave velocity calibration, volumetric analyses and reservoir characterization, fluid-substitution analysis, velocity/density trends and histograms, Geopressure picks, and Stratigraphic modeling.
• Regional petrophysical studies from the GDC's Gulf of Mexico Well Log Database.
• Petrophysical tie-in to "full-offset" synthetic seismograms, using acoustic impedance and Poisson's ratio (including full-elastic models), Model tie to seismic (time-tie, phase, and frequency match).
• Individualized petrophysical analyses tailored to the client's needs.
• Training and consulting, by a professional petrophysical staff, with extensive industry experience (senior members have 20+ years experience).
• Complete QC, editing, and digitizing of well log suites (sonic, density-neutron, dipole s-wave sonic, gamma ray, SP, and resistivity logs).
• Complete Custom AVO Interpretation & Calibration.
